Cumbria Orders Winter Road Maintenance Equipment

CPD are pleased to have secured a large contract with Cumbria Council, which has been split into two builds and includes four separate components.

The first part of the contract is to supply snow ploughs for their winter maintenance fleet prior to the start of the gritting season. With Cumbria being one of the worst hit areas in the UK most winters it is essential that their fleet has the most up-to-date range of winter road maintenance equipment.

This equipment will help ensure that should Cumbria receive a snowfall this winter that its residence will be able to maintain their usual routine and travel in confidence, knowing that their roads are safe and clear of dangerous snow and ice.
