C.P. Davidson & Sons Ltd an ISO 9001 registered company has been in the Davidson Family since 1956.
During the course of the years the business has built up an enviable reputation in the maintenance, refurbishment and supply of municipal equipment, most notably refuse collection vehicles. With an extensive fleet of vehicles on hire to both the public and private sectors CPD also handles over 600 pieces of equipment nationwide on contract maintenance.
A milestone in the company's history happened in March 2009 when CPD acquired the Telstar Winter Road Maintenance Equipment brand. With continuous investment in the latest design software and by embracing technology CPD is able to provide its clients with excellent levels of reliability and workmanship. Coupled with their knowledge and expertise they provide class leading bodies, including tow-alongs, demounts and a wide range of gritting solutions.
CPD pride themselves on being able to offer all owners and operators of light or heavy commercial vehicles a solution to their business needs, offering a broad range of services including; the sale of new and used equipment and vehicles, contract hire, fixed price maintenance, spot hire, parts supply and adhoc maintenance.

The sole agents in the UK for sales, service and parts for SEMAT refuse bodies, Translift Sideloaders, the Rotopacker rotary body as well as other refuse collection solutions between 7.5 and 32 tonnes.
CPD offer unrivalled after sales, support and training for all their products with a number of territory based engineers and an extremely confident parts department.
As well as holding spares in stock for Telstar, Semat, Translift and Rotopacker, CPD carry a comprehensive range of parts for all light and heavy commercial vehicles including a large array of workshop consumables.
The proud distributor of Seddon/Iveco parts and service their staff are fully trained in all aspects of these vehicles, including Cummins engine diagnostics and Wabco braking systems.
Operating from 11 separate locations strategically located around the UK, including Scotland and the Isle of Man, CPD are able to react to any customer demand in a very short space of time.
